We are proud to officially announce the start of the Hexarchia Olympics, a huge special event that will allow players to earn rich prizes in NFTs every week.
Event Start
The event will start on the 23rd of November and is open to everyone. Anyone can participate and it is not necessary to have a warlord to play. The only restriction is having Premium Access available on the Hexarchia website.
During this event, from every Tuesday to every Monday, players will be ranked according to their Olympic Rating — the more your Olympic Rating is higher, the higher you will be in the ranking.
How the Olympic Rating works
But how does the Olympic Rating work? The answer is very simple: you have to win Hexarchia battles.
This method of classification, called Olympic Rating, is basically the ELO systems and brings with it countless meritocratic advantages. Defeating a player with a higher Olympic Rating will earn you more positions, while losing against a player with a lower Olympic Rating will make you lose more positions. This of course also applies to the reverse: losing to a player with a higher Olympic Rating will make you lose fewer positions and defeating a player with a lower Olympic Rating will make you earn fewer positions. This system also helps to prevent rating inflation.
The Elo rating is a statistical system that helps in determining the real skill of a player. Being it a statistical measurement it needs a big enough sample of battles in order to provide a reliable rating. So you are considered eligible for the Top-10 prize only if you have played at least 20 honourable battles.
Players will start with a value of 1000 Olympic Rating and their goal will be to achieve the highest rating by winning as many matches as possible, so they get in the top 10 weekly and secure their reward.
This means that there is no fixed value of points earned or lost in case of victory or defeat. Everything is related to the Olympic Rating of your opponents.
Obviously to win the games you need to kill the warlord of the opposing players. In this regard is highly recommended to watch the video tutorial of the gameplay in order to dominate the game from the beginning. You can find the link to the video down below.
Please note that in case two or more warlords die in the same turn or the number of turns of the game drops to 0, the final table-score will be used to evaluate the results of the game. In this case, the following parameters will be evaluated: the number of remaining troops and their statistics.
You will be able to see your weekly ranking updated, in real time, in the main game menu of Hexarchia.
The Rewards
During the Hexarchia Olympics there are two category of rewards:
- The Top 10 NFTs prizes: dedicated to the top 10 weekly Hexarchy players. These prizes represent the excellence of players’ skills. Keep inmind that you must have played at least 20 honourable battles to be elegible.
- The Honorable NFT prizes: dedicated to casual players who deserve to be rewarded for their participation.
Top 10 NFTs prizes
The allocation of NFTs will take place as follows: The 10 players with the higher Olympic Rating will receive NFTs from the Genesis Set, whose rarity corresponds to the player’s ranking. The first player will receive an NFT of Legendary rarity, the second, third and fourth will receive an NFT of Epic rarity and the remaining 6 will receive an NFT of Classic rarity.
IMPORTANT: The Olympic Rating (Elo Rating) is a statistical system that helps in determining the real skill of a player.
Being it a statistical measurement it needs a big enough sample of battles in order to provide a reliable rating.
So players are considered eligible for the Top-10 prize only if they have played at least 20 honourable battles.
Honorable NFTs prizes
This award system is dedicated to less competitive and more casual players who do not have the time to devote themselves to climbing the leaderboard. So from 14/12/2021 these players can win a random NFT just by completing the battles of Hexarchia, no matter if you win or lose, the important goal is to participate, play and have fun! This is why they are called Honorable Battles! The more games the player plays, the rarer the NFT will be. The only rule to follow is to complete a minimum number of Honorable Battles between every Tuesday at 11:00 AM CET and every Monday at 11:00 AM CET (6 full days per week).
IMPORTANT: “Honorable Battle” means that you have to start a game and survive for at least 4 turns. From the fifth turn onwards if you win or lose it does not matter, the battle will be considered valid anyway! But be careful: exiting the game before, after or during the fourth turn will not get count as a “Honorable Battle”.
Below are the requirements to get the Honorable NFTs prizes:
- Completing at least 12 Honorable Battles in 6 days will give you the chance to receive a Classic NFT.
- Completing at least 18 Honorable Battles in 6 days will give you the chance to receive an Epic NFT.
- Completing at least 24 Honorable Battles in 6 days will give you the chance to receive a Legendary NFT.
The number of Honorable Battles completed per day is totally flexible and decided by the player. For example, if you want to get the Classic NFT you can decide to complete 2 battles per day, or do 12 battles on the last day and so on. So the freedom of choice is total, the only thing to remember is to complete at least 12, 18 or 24 Honorable Battles before the weekly reset (which takes place every Monday at 11:00 AM CET).
At the weekly reset of every Monday at 11:00 AM CET there will be 3 distinct random draws, one for each NFTs rarity level.
Finally, here are all the details of this new rewards system:
- Players in the Top 10 are excluded from these awards.
- The achievement of the NFT is based on the maximum number of games completed, so those who have completed 24 games in 6 days can receive only the Legendary rarity NFT, not the previous ones.
- The probability of being randomly drawn is the same for everyone, completing more Honorable Battles will not increase the probability of being drawn. So, for example, completing 12 or 17 games will have the same probability of being drawn for the Classic NFT.
- You can always see the number of your completed Honorable Battles alongside your name in the leaderboard of the Hexarchia main menu.
- A player who was randomly drawn during a week may also be randomly drawn in the following weeks. There are no reward limits for players.
- The number of completed games will be zeroed for all players at the weekly reset every Monday 11:00 AM CET
Rules of the Hexarchia Olympics
Starting on Tuesday, November 23rd, at 11:00 AM CET, each player will start with an Olympic Rating value of 1000. Every Monday at 11:00 AM CET, the Top 10 players with the higher Olympic Rating and the 3 players randomly extracted for the Honorable NFTs prizes will be rewarded. After that, the Olympic Rating will be reset to 1000 and the Honorable Battles completed will be set to zero, for all players. It will be possible to start increasing its own Olympic Rating and completing the Honorable Battles again every Tuesday at 11:00 AM CET.
This means that the activities of the players accomplished from 11:00 AM CET Monday to 11:00 AM CET Tuesday will not be considered valid for awards, as this will be considered a rest day (24h) where all players can test and evaluate new game strategies.
Be aware that there is no maximum limit of Olympic Rating reachable, so the only advice to climb the rankings is to play, have fun and win. The more games you play, the more games you will win and therefore the more higher your Olympic Rating will be.
There is also no limit to the number of awards a player can receive. The same player, for example, can come first every week and therefore receive all the legendary NFTs that are up for grabs!
Please note: any NFTs won by players will automatically be sent to their wallets at the end of each week. For this, each player must link their Metamask wallet (other wallets will not be considered valid) in their profile on www.hexarchia.com. Players who have not linked their wallets will not receive NFTs even if they are classified as winners. Therefore we kindly invite you to link your wallet as soon as possible.
Any NFTs not redeemed by players will be kept and distributed as prizes for the following weeks. In addition, the number of weekly prizes will scale with the number of players. So, more player equals more prizes!
Our management, in addition to the daily checks of game logs, will also play a key role in the progressive elimination of cheaters and win trading.
Who gets caught in these actions will be first disqualified from the weekly awards and warned: if caught again, he/she will be immediately banned from the game.

- To receive the Top 10 NFTs prizes, players must complete at least 20 battles and have from the first to the tenth higher Olympic Rating than the other players.
- To receive the Honorable NFT prizes, players must complete at least 12, 18 or 24 Honorable Battles.
- To claim the rewards players must link their Metamask wallet (other wallets will not be considered valid) in their profile on www.hexarchia.com.
- Exploiting game bugs for personal advantage, improper and offensive behavior and win trading are prohibited.
